Little rant while working on this paper…
You can argue that capitalism is great and all but it’s actually sick when you start acknowledging how disproportionate the wealth and resources actually are both at the national and international level- How much we, the world’s most wealthy, consume in relation to the majority of the world. Greed/entitlement is a problem and we all play a part in perpetuating oppressive power structures. Structures that limit and marginalize certain groups while elevating and maintaining power and control for others. This isn’t a self righteous post, man I think it bums me out so bad because I know I am a part of this. Learning and trying to grapple with how I can be less a part of it I guess.
